BANANA POSTER -FRUITS HAVE VITAMINS
This poster, mounted and put in conspicuous place in the classroom, prove of interest to pupils. It will serve as an interesting subject for a discussion on vitamins and fruit, may improvise a game in which one of them takes the place of the banana, and the others form a ring as the children doing in this poster.
MAY the first was made national Child Health Day by Congress in 1928. The movement was a significant one. The objective was to awaken interest in child health, and to point out definite needs of children everywhere. The World War 1914-1918 revealed for the first time the poor physical condition of the youth of our Nation, and brought the realization of a tremendous need of better child health.
