Duck Pattern

4rth Step- Fourth week
Freehand paper cutting, Coloring page

1.Using the illustrated duck pattern,- see that each child has two. Color yellow and paste two ducks together, with the exception of the wing, which is to be folded over. Fold the small pasting flap back. and paste onto the blue pond. The duck will then stand up and seem to be swimming in the water.

2.s Illustrate Stevenson's poem:
 The rain is raining all around 
It rains on field and tree; 
It falls on the umbrellas here, 
And on the ships at sea.

 Do this in any medium.

Window Decoration- Tulips In The Vase

 


The famous project of the American designer artist- Isabel Carlock. The window decoration of the classroom- month of MARCH, Art project- freehand paper cutting- Do It Yourself Decoration of the classrom window.

The project maybe used as the several coloring pages, or printed out as the decoration of the blackboard of the class for the month of March- The Dutch month. 

The classroom window decoration was approved for the decoration of the classes of the Public Schools and Kindergartens of The United States Of America by The Department Of Education Of The United States Of America.

Themes suggested: windows, tulips. Holland, Geography, Nature Studies, Art, Drawing, Craftwork

Instructions:

For design 

Cut the bowl on a fold of paper. It may be pale violet, with a band of darker violet at the top. The tulips may be yellow, with the stems and leaves a light gray green.
