MAY COLORING PAGE- BIRD FEEDING THE CHILDREN IN THE NEST.

ORIGINALLY THE COLORING PAGE WAS DESIGNED THE CALENDAR OF MAY 1931 BY PHYLLIS LEATHA DARCH 

Instructions:

Birds are harbingers of spring, so here is one building a nest. The nest may brown or gray, and the tree branches about the same color. The leaves should be green and the background a warm yellow. All may be outlined in black.

Draw the dog brown. 
Put an eye on him.
The girl has a pink dress.
The flower is red and green. 
Make the carriage yellow. 
The bird is blue.

SEAT WORK LESSON- THREE LITTLE CHICKEN

 DRAWING LESSON- EGGS AND THREE LITTLE CHICKEN

1. FIRST STEP- COUNTOURING THE EGG SHAPE.

Three eggs three eggs 
Now watch and see 
What these small eggs 
Are going to be 

2. SECOND STEP- ADD THE HEADS AND BEAKS

Make three round heads, 
And three beaks, too,
A wavy line
Right in plain view. 


3. THIRD STEP- ADD EYES, TAILS AND LEGS

Add tails and eyes 
And tiny feet. 
These chicks have found 
A worm to eat.
