IT IS interesting to note that Indiana is chosen floral emblem After adopting the pink carnation as its emblem and accepting it as such for several years; Indiana state decided that the tulip tree would be a more fitting representative. The tulip tree is a splendid large tree which often attains a height of one hundred and fifty feet. It is found growing in woodland sections and its flowers come out in May or June. The flowers are a rich creamy color, with deep red brown streaks at the bottom of each petal/
