Catbird - Blackboard Reading Lesson

 Catbird

In May the catbirds comemorth,
The catbird is gray.
The tail and top of the head are black.
The call sounds like a cat's miaow. The song is very sweet.
The song is very sweet.
The catbird sings a whisper song.
The nest is rough and is very untidy on the outside.
The inside is softly lined.
 The nest holds from four to six eggs. The baby birds eat worms, bugs, and other insects.
