THE MARCH HARE POSTER


THE MARCH HARE POSTER was published in 1931.

The famous poster of the American designer artist- Phylis Leatha Darch. The poster was designed as the school project for  the month of MARCH- calendar of 1931. In the picture- Easter Rabbit with a bamboo walking cane and the frock.

The short poem is to be learned  while coloring this page.

"Spring is here, said dignified hare," 
"I think Ill step out for a breath of air." 
And as he passed sedately by,- 
The flowers nodded and winked an eye. 

For design 

 The sky may be bright blue, with white clouds, and the water of the canal a darker blue than the sky. The windmills and fence may be dark gray or brown, and the windows yellow. The grass should be bright green, and the tulips bright yellow. red. orange pink. with gray green leaves. Outline all with black. 

The poster maybe used as the coloring page, or printed out as the decoration of the blackboard of the class for the month of March. 

The poster was approved for the decoration of the classes of the Public Schools and Kindergartens of The United States Of America by The Depatment Of Education Of The United States Of America.
